All are invited to an old fashioned Memorial Day Picnic at McCoy Farm and Gardens,1715 Anderson Pike, on Monday, May 29, 11:00-4:00. Lots of activities, entertainment and good food will make a good time for the communities to get together and celebrate Memorial Day.
The Picnic will start with an opening ceremony at 11:00, paying tribute to soldiers and includes the release of a rehabilitated raptor (bird). Local Musicians will be next on the stage and play throughout the day, including Mountain Cove Bluegrass Band and Tin Cup Rattlers.

There will be a silent auction with lots of wonderful items donated by area businesses. Gate prizes will be given out all afternoon. Patrons can visit the pavilion to obtain cakes and cupcakes donated by local bakers and businesses.
